ZenGRC has introduced Schedules, enabling records to be generated and replicated automatically at set intervals. This new feature reduces manual effort and ensures consistent record creation across your compliance workflows. A dedicated Schedules page is available to view and manage all current and upcoming recurrences, giving users full visibility and control over automated record generation.
Lansweeper Integration
ZenGRC now integrates with Lansweeper, allowing users to pull asset data directly into ZenGRC using Object Fetchers. The integration is established through a secure OAuth authentication process.
Automations
The Automations feature allows Administrators to automatically create tasks, send questionnaires, and trigger email notifications based on specific events in ZenGRC.
This feature replaces Workflows.

SharePoint Storage Solution
ZenGRC now supports full SharePoint integration as a storage solution for document management. This feature is currently available to US-based users only.
Users can configure SharePoint as their default storage provider for attachments, evidence files, and documentation, centralizing document management within your organization's existing SharePoint environment.
Enhanced Object Info Pages
ZenGRC has redesigned the object detail view with significant performance improvements for faster page loading and a streamlined mapping interface.
Tab counts have also been added to each object info page, allowing you to quickly assess activity levels across all tabs at a glance.
GRACI Background Processing Notifications
ZenGRC now supports background processing for GRACI workflows. When initiating a GRACI workflow, users can select Work in Background to continue working uninterrupted while GRACI processes the request. A notification will be delivered automatically upon completion, so no manual follow-up is needed.
AI-Powered File Upload with Intelligent Organization
ZenGRC has introduced advanced file uploading through GRACI, streamlining document management with intelligent AI-driven suggestions. Users can drag and drop files directly into the GRACI chat window to upload and index them for immediate use. Upon upload, GRACI analyzes the file and suggests relevant parent and shared objects, enabling faster, more organized document management with minimal manual effort.
Automated Questionnaire Scheduling
ZenGRC has introduced a new scheduling tool for questionnaires, expanding automation capabilities for third-party and other inquiry-based activities. The feature is accessible through an intuitive interface that includes grid views for schedule management, detailed recipient configuration, and comprehensive audit trails. With automated scheduling in place, recurring compliance surveys can be managed effortlessly, reducing manual oversight and ensuring consistent, timely delivery every time.
Custom Email Service
ZenGRC now allows users to configure email notifications through their own SMTP server, enabling the use of whitelisted domains and eliminating common spam filtering issues. The new SMTP Settings interface allows you to specify mail server details, test the connection, and route all ZenGRC emails through your organization's infrastructure with TLS/SSL encryption. When a custom SMTP configuration is not enabled, the system automatically falls back to ZenGRC's default email provider, ensuring uninterrupted email delivery at all times.
Status Workflow Manager
Introducing our new status workflow management system. This update replaces fixed status values with flexible, database-driven workflows, allowing you to define custom statuses that align with your organization's unique processes — without disrupting existing features, views, or reports. All statuses now map to three core categories — Draft, Open, and Closed — and are color-coded for quick, easy identification at a glance.
